		<description>Well, from what I have seen, knitwear designers have a combination of both free patterns and patterns they charged money for. I think a good combination of both would be the way to go - maybe you could charge for the more complicated patterns that took longer to design.</description>

THUSLY you should totally go into designer mode and come up with some NEW patterns for which you will charge.  And for which I will be waiting with my debit card in hand.  Love ya, Miss ya.
